Why this programme ?
Breakbulk is considered a valuable niche market as it encompasses a considerable amount of job opportunities and value added services in a port.
Loading and unloading breakbulk is labour-intensive.
Furthermore, general cargo creates opportunities for value added services such as supply chain management, steel service centers, quality control and packaging & storage. Shipping breakbulk requires a product specific approach: every shipment is different.
The ports of Flanders are highly experienced ports for handling of steel, project cargo, fruit, forest products and cars in Europe. In addition, some international cases and their possible link with India will be highlighted. Get ready for a deep dive in breakbulk logistics from various parties involved in the supply chain.

2) Value Added Logistics for breakbulk cargo
3) Intermodal solutions for breakbulk
4) Zooming in on steel, project cargo and the trade of paper and wood
5) Safety and Security of breakbulk shipping
6) Case studies from the working field
For whom ?
This course is directed towards professionals involved in maritime transport of steel, project cargo and general cargo aiming to improve the general experience of each breakbulk shipment.
Course fee: Rs 20.000
The registration fee covers the tuition fee, documentation, workshop and certificate (no GST included).
Please note that the registration fee must be received by JNPT-APEC in full; meaning all national and international taxes, bank costs etc. need to be covered by the participant.
Kindly take this into account when completing the transfer, as a deficit in the amount received by JNPT-APEC will mean admission to the course will be denied.
