Dredging strategies and technology for ports

Successfully maintaining port access using the best available technologies and strategies

The course starts from the main objectives, keeping the access channel open and the port reachable for port customers and looks at the need for dredging, the calculation of volumes to be dredged and shows a methodology to select the best suited strategies and equipment.

After the seminar, participants will have acquired the following skills and knowledge: Define, execute and manage dredging projects, for both investment and maintenance dredging, in a sustainable way.

Course fees

The course fee is fixed at 100.000 Rupees per participant and includes course material, lunches, refreshments, coffee and tea during the breaks and the work visits. Participants of Indian Major ports may apply for a special scholarship for attending the courses.
