Course information

The course takes the participants on a journey from concept to optimisation – with a special focus on advanced planning strategies – to maximise service, revenue and profit.

After the seminar, participants will have acquired the following skills and knowledge: Design terminals, define and optimise processes and use the right technology to lift terminal operations to the next level.

 

What to expect:

How to design a terminal and (re-)define best fit operational procedures from an operational point of view.  How to calculate capacity of the terminal and KPI’s, based on the selection of the equipment.

 

Who should attend:

Management of blue and white collar port professionals.

Senior IT-specialists and project managers.

 

What will I learn:

  • Be able to map the correct process flows and define the correct actions within these flows.
  • How to design a terminal depending on the commodity and equipment used (capex/opex).
  • To map operational processes and define procedures.
  • How to discover area’s for automation and select the correct technology to achieve better performance.

 

Course fees:

The course fee is fixed at 100.000 Rupees per participant and includes course material, lunches, refreshments, coffee and tea during the breaks and the work visits. Participants of Indian Major ports may apply for a special scholarship for attending the courses.
